WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX – A bombshell grand jury investigation has validated what
Citizens Defending Freedom (CDF) has been fighting to expose for three years: significant
election integrity concerns from the November 2020 Presidential Election that officials failed to address.
After CDF flagged concerning irregularities during early voting in 2020, the 368th Williamson
County Grand Jury conducted a five-month investigation, examining extensive documentation and testimony. Their findings confirmed multiple troubling issues deliberately omitted from the official canvass report submitted to the Texas Secretary of State:
• Widespread ballot glitches and misprints affecting voter choices
• Critical failures in poll worker training and voting equipment
• Improper handling of ballots compromising chain of custody
• Officials certifying election results despite documented problems
Due to the hard and dedicated work of the CDF Elections Team, their investigation led to direct accountability, both the Elections Administrator and the County Chair are no longer in
Williamson County. This significant leadership change comes as the Grand Jury is making
several recommendations for improvement to prevent what happened in 2020 from happening ever again.
"This investigation wasn't just about uncovering mistakes—it was about revealing a systematic failure to maintain election integrity," said Marcia Watson “The fact that a grand jury validated our CDF findings after examining the evidence proves this isn't partisan politics—these are legitimate concerns about the foundation of our democracy."
Public records, including CDF's detailed reports and Williamson County Commissioners Court minutes, reveal a disturbing pattern of officials downplaying or ignoring these critical issues.
To restore voter confidence, the Grand Jury has recommended:
• Creating a comprehensive online video series explaining the complete voting process
• Conducting public educational presentations on proper election procedures
• Enhancing the Williamson County website to improve voter access to sample ballots
