WHO WE ARE
Citizens Defending Freedom (CDF) is an organization that provides the tools and support needed to empower citizens to defend their freedom and liberty, and place local government back into the hands of the people.
Our values are based upon both the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God as written in the Declaration of Independence. Our resources empower citizens to hold school boards, local officials, and other governing bodies accountable, ensuring they uphold the principles of freedom and liberty. These principles, endowed by our Creator, are guaranteed by America’s founding documents: the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the U.S. Constitution.
Our Mission
To equip and empower American citizens to stand for and preserve freedom for themselves and future generations by resolving breaches of liberty through local awareness, local light, and local action. To educate the American citizen on the value of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and its influence on America’s founding.
Focused efforts at the local level
The fight to save America begins at the LOCAL level. We create state specific resources to equip citizens in every county of the states we serve supporting local change that has national impact.
These efforts are supported by our dedicated national team of media, research, and legal experts who work tirelessly to strengthen and back state initiatives. Together, we ensure that citizens have the tools and support needed to confront threats to freedom and liberty at every level.
Our priority is to protect future generations from harmful ideologies. We educate citizens on how to attend school board meetings, research agendas, vet curricula, and engage their communities to defend parental rights. At the national level, our legal and media teams work to combat radical gender policies infiltrating schools and communities, ensuring the safety and well-being of our children.
Our constitutional republic is dependent on transparent, legal, and closely supervised elections. We work to empower and educate citizens to engage in the election process on a local level in order to ensure laws are followed and to uncover possible electoral misconduct.
Corruption and politics go hand-in-hand, and those in power will stop at nothing to retain it. We empower citizens with dedicated legal and media resources in order to root out corrupt politicians, to secure our elections, and to protect the hearts and minds of our children.
We empower the body of Christ to influence culture and governance by giving them the tools to uphold God’s moral values. Our work includes defending pastors in legal battles, providing tools and equipping churches to champion faith in schools, protect the unborn, and expose evil in our communities.
